IPS understands and respects the value you as Client place on your payroll expectations. IPS's services are therefore designed to allow the Client to specify the degree of assistance required on a day-to-day basis, including liaising with statutory authorities and salary related third parties. IPS uses SAGE VIP Premier, the most advanced and flexible payroll system that runs on Windows. IPS, however, also offers the Client the option of a cloud-based payroll system allowing employees to apply online for overtime worked, paid annual, sick and family leave. Employees will be able to download their monthly payslips and annual tax certificates online from the system.

The standard service that IPS offers includes the following:

• Collation of input
• Processing payroll input and finalise
• Applying and obtaining tax directives on behalf of Client as and when required
• Reconciling all Company and other deductions
• Generating payslips in hard copy, electronic or online in PDF format
• Effecting salary transfers (EFT’s) on behalf of Client, should it be required
• Creating/compiling all salary related reports in PDF or Excel format
• Creating/compiling customised financial salary related journals in Excel format
• Completion and submission of Statutory EMP201 tax return on Efiling to SARS
• Making Statutory and sundry payments on behalf of Client
• Submitting Statutory UIF data to the Commissioner by e-mail
• Keeping and updating records of leave and leave provisions, should it be required
• Providing for annual bonuses, should it be required
• Processing of garnishee orders
• Reconciling and issuing of IRP5/IT3A tax certificates at tax year-end
• Completion and submission of the Statutory bi-annual and annual EMP501 tax return on Easyfile to SARS
• Completion and submission of Statutory annual Workmen's Compensation WSa8 return to the Commissioner
• Handling employee payroll tax related queries
• Providing telephone backup payroll support during business hours
